Crisis stabilization is a program that focused on individuals’ ages 5 or older that are experiencing an acute crisis of a psychiatric nature that may jeopardize the current living situation. The goals of this service are to prevent hospitalization and establish community stabilization, safety plans, etc. Crisis Stabilization is short-term residential treatment units that provide immediate care to individuals experiencing a mental health or substance use disorder crisis.
